Job description
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative in Mortgage Lending. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our clients throughout the mortgage lending process. You will be the primary point of contact for customers, answering their inquiries and assisting them with any questions they may have while using the online services.
You will embody our brand values of customer service excellence, honesty, and support. Our clients will look to you for information and to help them achieve their financial goals. You understand the importance of your role and take pride in your work.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate with customers via phone, email, or chat to address any questions or concerns they have regarding their mortgage application.
- Provide support to the mortgage loan officers and underwriters by gathering documentation and preparing files for processing and closing.
- Manage a pipeline of loans and ensure that all necessary documents are received and processed in a timely manner.
- Assist with post-closing activities and provide ongoing customer support.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in customer service, preferably in mortgage lending or financial services.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Familiarity with loan origination systems and mortgage industry practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Bilingual (French, English) – mandatory.
